The best choice for people who want to explore both Ninh Binh and Ha Long but don’t have much time. Admire the ancient capital of Hoa Lư, cycle through Tam Coc, taste traditional Vietnamese flavors, and admire Ha Long Bay.
Itinerary
Ootion 1: Day 1 Hoa Lu – Trang An – Mua Cave
07:00: Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. We take you to Ninh Binh province which is far from Hanoi city about 120 km.
09:00: Have a short break for 20 minutes to relax.
10h30: The first destination in this trip is visit Hoa Lu ancient capital. This is the first capital of Vietnam. Come to visit Hoa Lu, you will learn about why the capital was moved to Hanoi nowadays. You are impressed on an outstanding architecture when entering temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17 century. Try to feel ancient atmospheres in Hoa Lu ancient capital.

11h30 : Continue the tour with 45 minutes for cycling around the village to discover the life of local people.
12h30 : Have buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods goat meat, fried rice… Vegetarian food is always available in the buffet lunch.
13h30 – 14h00 : Visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as The world Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has the wonderful tunnel cave system so that Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for New Version of Kong in 2016 – “ Skull Island “. Boat trip to visit Trang An to see the amazing beauty of this landscape with many caves such as : Sang Cave (Light Cave), Toi Cave (Dack cave), Nau Ruou Cave (Cooking Wine), green river and natural view.

16h00 : Get on the bus to go to Mua Cave ( Dancing Cave ). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach to the top of Lying Dragon Moutain, have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here.

19h30 : Arrive back to hotel ( homestay ) at Ninh Binh.
Option 2: Day 1 Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Mua Cave

13h30 – 14h00 : Visit Tam Coc by 1,5 hour bamboo boat. During the boat trip, you will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy field, river, water, cloud, sky and stuning cave system. All make a masterpiece which Vietnamese people called “Halong Bay on land “

16h00: Get on the bus to go to Mua Cave ( Dancing Cave ). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach to the top of Lying Dragon Moutain, have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here.

19h30 : Arrive back to hotel ( homestay ) at Ninh Binh.
Day 2 Ninh Binh – Ha Long Bay Tour – Sung Sot Cave – TiTop Island – Luon Cave/ Kayaking
06:30: Have breakfast at the hotel/ homestay.
07:00 – 07:30: Be pick up by limousine transfer, depart for Ha Long Bay.
11:15 – 11:30:Upon arrival at Tuan Chau harbour, free time at the harbor.
11:45 – 12:00: Meeting your tour guide and get on board the cruise then starts a trip to discover the World Heritage. Enjoy set menu lunch with Vietnamese traditional food while cruising though thousands of limestone islands such as: Dog Rock, Insence Bunner and especially Fighting Cock – a symbol of Ha Long Bay.

13:30 : Explore Sung Sot Cave – The longest, biggest and the most beautiful grotto of Ha Long bay.

14:45: The boat will move to Luon cave area – a water cave for kayaking or rowing bamboo boat or just stay on board for relaxing.
15:45:Visitting Titop island for swimming or hiking to the Titop peak for taking photos with panoramic view of the bay.

16h30: Enjoy Sunset party. It is time for a rest after activities and capture the sunset on the bay. You also have time to enjoy some of red wine, french fried, fruites..
17:45- 18:00 : Back to Ha Long habour. Disembark to get on the bus, moving back Hanoi.
20:30 – 20:45: Arrive in Hanoi, drop you back to your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Trip ends.
