Elephant Waterfall is one of the most impressive waterfalls near Dalat. Located in a farming valley at the foot of a mountain pass, the waterfall lies about 30 km southwest of the city center. Many travelers visit this attraction during Easy Rider tours across the Central Highlands.

At the entrance, you will find several souvenir shops and local restaurants. Some shop owners may invite visitors to browse their products. However, the area remains relatively quiet compared to many other tourist attractions. Visitors can enter the waterfall area free of charge and begin the short trek down to the falls.

Therefore, visitors should walk carefully and pay close attention to their footing. The waterfall spray keeps the pathway damp throughout the day. Even experienced hikers may find some sections challenging. As you descend, the powerful sound of the waterfall grows louder, creating excitement before reaching the bottom.

Once you arrive at the base, you can admire the waterfall rising more than 30 meters above the surrounding landscape. Thick vines, tree branches, and mist add to the dramatic scenery. While Elephant Waterfall is not the largest waterfall in the region, its viewing angle makes it appear much larger and more powerful.

Reng Reng Café Near Elephant Waterfall

Just to the left of the entrance, visitors can stop at Reng Reng Café. Dương, a young entrepreneur from northern Vietnam, operates the café and serves high-quality Western-style coffee at reasonable prices.

Moreover, the café uses locally grown Arabica beans from Lâm Đồng Province. Visitors can also purchase freshly roasted coffee beans as souvenirs or gifts. The relaxed atmosphere makes it an ideal place to rest before or after exploring the waterfall.

How to Get to Elephant Waterfall

Getting to Elephant Waterfall from Dalat is simple. First, follow Hoàng Văn Thụ Street west from the city center. Next, turn left at the sign for Tà Nung Village. Continue through Tà Nung and travel toward Nam Ban Village.

A sign for Elephant Waterfall appears on the right side of the road just before a bridge. Travelers can reach the attraction by motorbike, private car, or local bus. The scenic journey takes approximately 45 minutes from Dalat.
