This cruise is indeed 5 stars! It's totally worth the money. The operator was responsive and picked us up at the hotel on time. A limousine van was used which was super clean, comfortable and has reclining seats. We enjoyed all the food, drinks, and the ship was very beautiful with enough seating, pools and friendy & accommodating staff. Shower rooms, toilets have body wash and shampoos and the staff will also provide you towels. Our tour guide, Tony, was also very professional, friendly, and patient. There was also enough time per stop. The boats really went far away from the port and cruised nearby and within Halong Bay. We went in October which wasn't crowded so we enjoyed it even more. If you don't want a "crowded" tourist attraction, go to this place in low-peak season. Pick up and drop off also goes through the Highway unlike other cruise operators so travel time to and from Hanoi to Halong is only 2 hours 30 minutes max instead of 4 hours. Perfect for people with connecting flights or bus rides in the evening!
We had a great day with Sea Octopus. We enjoyed the excursions that were part of the day cruise. The cave was far one of the best I have ever been to!

I was hesitant at first in choosing the SEA OCTOPUS since it is pricier than the others. But I was glad that I paid the premium. We were picked up by a limousine bus and the ride to Halong Bay was so comfortable. Stops were also made to buy some food and go to the comfort room. Halong Bay is beautiful and the boat is equally beautiful too. The lunch was quite a feast as well. Great selection and they served more than enough for all the guests
This time, we joined from Tuan Chau instead of Hanoi. We enjoyed it without getting tired from traveling. It was about 6 hours from before noon. The food was buffet. There was a wide variety of seafood such as shrimp and shellfish, and Vietnamese dishes. The pool facilities were small but good. There were quite a few passengers, but they managed their time well, so we stayed on schedule. We disembarked and embarked at three points along the way. It's easier if you put on your swimsuit before boarding the ship. I would recommend this tour to my friends when they ask me about Halong Bay tours.
