Well worth visiting in the morning

The ancient pagoda is located in such a beautiful island off the edge of West lake in modern Hanoi. Since it is little away from the old quarters, it is advisable to start your day visit with this pagoda. The place is surrounded by very well managed walk-way amidst the busy main road of the city. The pagoda opens at 7 - 7.30 in the morning till evening.

Conversations on a rainy day in this Pagoda

This place is good and peaceful. I went there on a rainy day and met a family. They are nice and some people are having tea in the temple. The place has good architecture that is evident for Vietnam not as a result of French influence.

Peaceful

We took a grab to the pagoda. The pagoda is built on a separate island in west lake. The place is very peaceful and has a calming sensation to it. The dress code wasn’t all that strict at all. The pagoda however does close around 11:30 am and reopens at 1:30 pm. So it’s best if you go during the morning hours.

Tran Quoc Pagoda with its stunning architecture, calming ambiance, and significant cultural values should not be missed when it comes to exploring Hanoi. It is the oldest pagoda in the city. A sacred gem in the middle of West Lake. Tran Quoc Pagoda can offer visitors a unique cultural and religious experience.
