The staff went above and beyond by lending me a power adapter when I forgot mine. The morning coffee on the private balcony, watching the mist lift, was heavenly. The barbecue lunch on a secluded beach was a delightful surprise.

The cabin was surprisingly spacious, and the bed had the perfect firmness for my back. The morning tai chi on deck with mist rising from the karsts felt like a traditional Chinese painting come to life. The only letdown was the coffee at breakfast – but the jasmine tea made up for it.
